A fantastic Belgian-style dubbel from Brooklyn Brewery. This beer is usually only available at Thomas Keller's 3 Michelin star rated world-famous restaurant
"The French Laundry." For a limited time, 750ml bottles
are available at only the best beer spots in the Bay Area.
I tried one earlier today, and I was impressed. It's a bit lighter than
your average Belgian Dubbel, definately versatile for food pairing.
Beautiful notes of fig and plum are predominant, with a lightly yeasty, earthy backbone.
Drink some. I shouldn't have to convince you. Just buy it. Yes.
